1958 Lincoln PremiereWe came across this very tidy original 58 Lincoln
She has never had any damage nor anything resprayed so this is one very awesome car! Running a factory Big Block 430ci rated at 475 factory horses, Wow! Altho she is a bit tiered now so giving the engine a strip down and tidy up with many new parts to restore the 475hp back again :) Chrome is just incredible! Just like new in top condition and its 64 years old!!!! This car has been looked after and garaged all its life. |
Interior was newly done when we purchased the car. Has been recovered in a deep Blood Red with white vinyl. Hood lining is incredible!

The 430 Big Block has had a good freshen up. Engine had been reconditioned a few years back in the States board out 30tho with completely new parts but a dodgy valve guide had me pulling her down again just to check things out.
The bad valve guide (and one replaced valve) was fixed and heads have been giving a complete check up to make sure she is 100%. A suspect lifter had caused the problem but was easy just to replace all the lifters with new along with new springs.
The block was treated to a mild hone with new rings and a full set of new bearings and all new gaskets, this motor will run like new!
At first I couldn't decide on what colour to paint the engine but after scraping some of the dirt off I found this light blue. This engine was painted before Ford made all their motors their famous dark blue so I figured this must me the original colour. I matched the blue and although its not a colour I would normally choose I really do like it and I cant wait to see it back in the engine bay where I also treated to a fresh coat of pearl white.
